Privacy Policy

FIELDCAST is software that trade contractors use to run their businesses — websites, estimates, invoices, scheduling and marketing. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we will not do.

The short version. We collect what the software needs to work and nothing extra. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data to train models. A contractor's data belongs to that contractor, and no contractor can see another's.

Who this covers

Two groups, with different relationships to us:

Contractors — businesses that subscribe to FIELDCAST. You are our customer.
A contractor's own customers — homeowners who receive an estimate or invoice. We process your information on that contractor's behalf. They decide what is collected and why; we are the processor, not the owner.

What we collect

We do not collect or store payment card numbers or bank details. Payments run through Stripe, which handles that data directly under its own agreement with you.

Google account access

If you connect a Google Business Profile, we request one permission — business.manage — so the software can read the locations you manage and, with your instruction, publish updates to your listing.

We store only the refresh token Google issues, and it is scoped to your business alone.
We never read your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar. We do not request those permissions.
You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by disconnecting inside FIELDCAST. Revoking stops all access immediately.
Google user data is used only to provide the features you switched on. It is never sold, never transferred for advertising, and never used to train AI models. Our use complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share with

Only the services that make the product function:

Stripe — payment processing
Hostinger — domain registration, DNS and website hosting
Google — only if you connect a Business Profile
Email delivery — to send the estimates and invoices you create

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. Cancel and ask us to delete, and we remove your business data within 30 days, apart from records we are legally required to retain — invoices and payment records generally have to be kept for tax purposes.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Every database query is scoped to a single business at the database level, so one contractor's account cannot read another's even if application code were to get it wrong. Contractors' banking and identity details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted forms and never pass through our systems.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion. Email nick@trydueschaser.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are a homeowner who received an estimate or invoice and want your details removed, ask the contractor who sent it — they control that record. Contact us if they cannot help.

Children

FIELDCAST is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we make a material change we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
